We are pleased to introduce to you Dr. Fernando, a highly respected and experienced ophthalmologist who has been expanding his clinical practice in the United Arab Emirates for a decade.
Dr. Fernando graduated from the University of Navarra in Spain and is currently a university professor at Miguel Hernández University. He is a specialist in various areas of ophthalmology, with extensive experience in glaucoma, refractive surgery, cataracts, and pediatric ophthalmology. He holds the European title of super-specialist in refractive and cataract surgery (EBO-ESCRS), which demonstrates his dedication and exceptional skills in this area.
Throughout his career, Dr. Fernando has been recognized for his surgical skills and his commitment to excellence in patient care. His experience and knowledge are invaluable, and he has been a cornerstone in the education of other ophthalmologists and medical university students.
He has published a multitude of articles and has presented publications and lectures both nationally and internationally. Dr. Fernando is a member of the Editorial Board of the Spanish Journal of Ophthalmic Research and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ophthalmological Society of Valencia (SOCV). He has also expanded his knowledge at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, USA.
